PMU Professional Diana Speranskaia Outlines Current Trends of Permanent Makeup

In March 2024, the Global Canton Beauty Expo in Guangzhou became one of the most prominent events in the beauty industry.
It gathered over 500 thousand participants for workshops, presentations, and discussions on various market segments, from skin care products to make-up techniques.

One of the participants, Diana Speranskaia, a permanent makeup artist with over 7 years of experience, presented a unique permanent make-up method. Throughout her career, she amassed over 10,000 hours of experience.

The “Shade Brows” method combines the benefits of using both mineral and hybrid pigments, allowing the make-up artist to provide long-lasting and natural-looking makeup even for oily skin.
Currently, the method has been presented at multiple workshops with over 3 thousand participants. In addition to teaching the method at her courses and workshops, Diana outlined it in a handbook that is widely used by permanent make-up artists in her home city, becoming a local trend.
She mentions that her youngest student, who started studying make-up at 18 years old, was able to take the prize at her first contest half a year after finishing the courses.
The great variety of aspects of the beauty industry presented at the Canton Beauty Expo is an illustrative example of the positive trends for the future, which are beneficial both for permanent makeup artists and their clients.
