Born on November 6, 1959, Connie Dieken is a broadcast journalist, author, and entrepreneur. Growing up, She attended Winchester High School. And despite being an introvert she received her degree in B.A. communications and business from Indiana University Bloomington in 1982.
Connie began her news broadcasting career in Cleveland at Channel 3 in 1984. Her initial role at the station was as a weekend consumer reporter. However, she quickly advanced and joined Tom Sweeney at the anchor desk for the 5 PM broadcast. Soon after, she was the main anchor of Channel 3 News at 6 & 11 PM.
She continued with WKYC-TV NBC for almost 10 years, becoming the first female to telecast her news headlines in three different slots on the network.
In 1994, Connie signed on WEWS-TV and co-hosted the longest-running talk show of its kind called “The Morning Exchange”.
